IDEA

Idea (formerly Idea Books) was acquired by Kayne West. Idea was founded by husband-and-wife team David Owen and Angela Hill. Hill previously worked at Comme des Garçons before pursuing photography, while Owen started as a journalist and editor for a graphic design magazine. In 2014, Idea began publishing his own books and has a close collaboration with DSM.

Beyond introducing and exploring brands, the books also incorporate the cultural and current events behind the trends, making Idea a key word in culture and trends.
